Pixel Lineage: Talent Tier List for Adventure Progression
Rank seven talents by survival, opening Energy, growth, and resource gains, including the real conditions behind their passive effects.
This Pixel Lineage talent tier list favors survival and usable resources for adventure progression. Prodigy and Survivor lead for different reasons: one spreads bonuses across important stats, while the other can preserve a life when a qualifying hit would knock you out.
This gameplay video shows the interface and turn-based rhythm that the following choices use.
Grades for an adventure-focused hero
The grades below are editorial recommendations based on the actual passive triggers. They do not make the rarest result a requirement. A talent's value changes when your main problem is Energy, leveling speed, or accumulating gold rather than surviving another battle.
| Grade | Talent | Chance | Useful effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | Prodigy | 1% | 5% more Attack, Magic, Defense and max HP; extra crit and progression |
| S | Survivor | 30% | 6% more max HP and a once-per-battle lethal-hit safeguard from above 20% HP |
| A | Arcane Spark | 10% | One extra starting Energy and 8% more Magic |
| A | Iron Soul | 14% | 6% more Defense and a 30% chance to shrug off harmful effects |
| B | Keen Eye | 22% | 5% more crit chance and 2% more dodge |
| B | Quick Study | 18% | 12% more XP and 15% more class mastery |
| C | Fortune's Favor | 5% | 10% more gold, 8% more loot and 2% jackpot chance |
Survivor is protection with a real threshold
Survivor's Endure can leave you at 1 HP once per battle when a knockout blow arrives while you are above 20% HP. It is not a standing promise that every lethal hit will be prevented. Keeping health above that threshold makes its condition more useful; sitting at almost no health and expecting another rescue does not.
Prodigy offers broad stat and growth benefits, but its 1% listed chance makes chasing it expensive in spins. A useful Survivor or Arcane Spark is a working build immediately. Replacing that talent trades a known benefit for another uncertain roll.
Move a talent up when it solves your current problem
Arcane Spark suits a Magic hero whose opening turn is constrained by Energy. Quick Study is attractive when the objective is XP and class mastery, even though it contributes less immediate survival. Fortune's Favor serves a gold-and-loot session, rather than being a defensive answer to a difficult boss.
Keen Eye offers offensive crit and a small dodge bonus without a special activation step. Iron Soul helps a defensive plan and provides a chance to reject harmful statuses; a chance is not reliable immunity. Choose the passive that addresses your hero's recurring weakness before spending more talent spins.
