Pixel Lineage Adventures, Difficulty and Torment

Set out from the castle alone or with up to four heroes, vote on path cards, and choose a difficulty you can finish. Pixel Lineage adventures connect ordinary route rewards to the later Torment loop and permanent ranks, with different decisions at each stage.

A route has more than one kind of rewardPath decisions and endgame rewards tied to a clear route goal.

A route has more than one kind of reward

Parties share the road and loot, so communicate whether the current trip aims for a boss clear, a Trainer’s Shrine, or optional combat. Camps offer recovery or an offensive buff; Blood Altars trade health for rewards. These choices can matter more to survival than choosing the richest-looking card in isolation.

Normal, Hard and Nightmare raise different enemy and reward multipliers while harder defensive timing asks more of your execution. Later, Torment requires level 50 and a completed story, then adds a daily three-land gauntlet. Its chest supplies most Valor for permanent Lineage ranks. A reliable completed route can therefore support both the current hero’s gear and the bloodline that survives that hero.

Routes, endgame and permanent progression

Each article covers a separate decision from entering a party run to spending the Valor earned at its endgame chest.

Rewards and permanence

Does a larger reward multiplier guarantee better farming?

No. The mode’s rewards must be considered alongside whether you finish, how long the route takes, and the survival resources it consumes. The multiplier alone is not a measured earning rate.

Do Lineage ranks disappear with the hero?

Lineage ranks persist after permanent hero death and improve HP, Attack, Magic and Defense across the game. They are a separate investment from the current hero’s levels and loadout.
