Pixel Lineage: Armor Sets: Bonuses and Three-Piece Rules
Compare twelve armor-set effects, understand full-set activation and attunement, and separate equipped stats from cosmetic vanity.
Activate a Pixel Lineage armor set by wearing its matching Helmet, Chest and Legs. There is no partial-set bonus, and the full bonus stays the same across rarities, so completing the three-piece identity is a different decision from upgrading one piece's rarity.
This gameplay video shows the interface and turn-based rhythm that the following choices use.
Complete all three slots before counting the bonus
Check the set name on all three armor pieces. Mixing two pieces of one set with a third from another does not grant a partial version of the effect. A single impressive piece can be useful for its stats while still leaving the set inactive.
Class-attuned pieces give the matching class 20% more from each piece. Mythic armor is attuned for every class and adds a further 10% benefit. These compatibility rules matter alongside the set effect, rather than being interchangeable with it.
Compare the actual full-set effect
| Set | Full-set effect | Build direction |
|---|---|---|
| Dragonscale | First hit burns for three turns; +5% Attack and +8% Defense | Opening pressure |
| Sunforged | Opening ward worth 15% max HP; +6% Defense and max HP | Surviving early hits |
| Bloodmoon | Crits heal 15% of damage; +5% crit and +4% Attack | Critical-hit sustain |
| Frostborn | 30% hit chance to Chill for two turns; +3% crit and +8% Magic | Magic with Chill support |
| Stormcaller | Every fourth landed hit dazes; bosses get Weak for two turns; +10 Speed and +3% crit | Repeated-hit control |
| Verdant | Heal 4% max HP at turn start; +4% Magic and +8% max HP | Steady recovery |
| Seraph | One knockout rescue to 1 HP, then 25% heal and three-turn Bless; +6% Magic and +10% max HP | A survival safeguard |
| Phoenix | 40% hit chance to Burn for two turns; kills heal 8%; +7% Attack and Magic | Burn and finishing foes |
| Abyssal | 30% more hit damage below 35% foe HP; +4% crit and +8% Attack | Finishing wounded targets |
| Sovereign | One Energy every third turn; +10% Magic and one starting Energy | Spell resources |
| Aurora Muse | First move inspires the party for three turns; +6% Magic and +10% XP | Party opening support |
| Fae Monarch | Dodges blind attackers for two turns and heal 5%; +5% dodge and Magic | Dodge-based response |
Use the third column as editorial guidance about the effect's shape, not a universal ranking. A crit-healing set wants landed critical hits, while a turn-start recovery set works on a different trigger. A set aimed at finishing wounded enemies does not solve the same opening-pressure problem as an immediate ward.
Preserve a useful bonus when replacing a piece
Before equipping a drop, check whether it breaks the current three-piece set. The replacement may have stronger ordinary stats, but the lost effect belongs in the comparison too. Keep spare pieces that make it possible to assemble a second complete set rather than scattering useful combinations across storage.
Vanity changes the look rather than the build
VANITY (LOOKS) controls appearance without changing stats. Use it when you want a different visual style while keeping the working equipment plan. Do not interpret a cosmetic change as activating a set or changing the bonuses your combat loadout provides.
