Pixel Lineage: Gear Guide: Slots, Rarity and Attunement
Understand seven equipment slots, six rarities, class attunement, bonus-stat roles, and the separate benefits of sets and Legendary Powers.
Pixel Lineage gear fills seven slots: Weapon, Helmet, Chest, Legs, two Relics and a Scroll. Compare a piece's useful stats and class attunement before replacing your loadout just because the drop has a rarer label.
This gameplay video shows the interface and turn-based rhythm that the following choices use.
Rarity changes the number of bonus stats
| Rarity | Bonus stats | Legendary Power |
|---|---|---|
| Common | 0 | No |
| Uncommon | 1 | No |
| Rare | 2 | No |
| Epic | 3 | No |
| Legendary | 3 | One |
| Secret | 3 | One |
Legendary and Secret pieces add a power as well as their bonus stats. Mythic equipment is a special family that can be Legendary or Secret, rather than an extra seventh rarity in this table. Gear comes from foes, bosses and adventure chests, so your route provides opportunities across more than one slot.
Give each slot a purpose in the build
Weapons emphasize offense, elements and on-hit effects. Armor supports Defense, resistances and sustain. Relics and the Scroll can mix stats. A new weapon may solve weak damage, while an armor upgrade may solve the hit that prevents your next clear.
Matching class attunement gives 20% more from the piece. Compare that benefit along with its displayed stats. Mythic armor is attuned for every class, so the word Mythic describes compatibility and special equipment properties rather than a separate rarity color.
Read bonus stats against the actions you use
BASIC DMG helps the basic attack; SKILL DMG helps moves other than the basic attack. PHYS DMG and MAGIC DMG serve different damage types. Armor Penetration and Magic Penetration likewise belong to different offensive plans.
Sustain stats answer other problems. Lifesteal heals from damage, Regen heals at the start of turns, and Barrier gives opening protection. Energy Flow provides a chance at extra turn-start Energy. Favor stats whose conditions regularly happen in your build instead of collecting labels that sound powerful but help another play style.
Sets and powers are separate layers
An armor set needs its matching Helmet, Chest and Legs; partial sets do not grant a bonus. The set bonus is the same at every rarity. Legendary Powers can appear on any gear slot, but wearing the same power twice counts only once.
When considering a replacement, check what it removes as well as what it adds. Breaking a three-piece set or duplicating an already equipped power can change the result more than a rarity upgrade suggests. Build a loadout whose parts contribute different useful benefits.
