Pixel Lineage: Race Rerolls: Spins and Keep Decisions

Last updated 2026-10-09Unofficial player article

Learn where race spins come from, compare passive fit with rare-roll chances, and choose a sensible stopping point before rerolling.

Use Pixel Lineage race spins to improve a specific passive fit, rather than rerolling every result below Mythic. A new hero starts with three race spins, and a useful Stonekin, Dwarf or Human can support your immediate plan while rare outcomes remain uncertain.

Decide what improvement would justify another spin

Your race is rolled during hero creation alongside the talent. Before spending another race spin, choose the goal: physical survival, Fist damage, Magic, growth, or reward income. That goal makes it possible to recognize a useful result instead of rejecting it solely because of its color.

Stonekin's extra maximum HP and Fist damage make it a clear match for a Fist plan. Human helps XP and mastery. Dwarf provides simple health and Defense. If one of these already solves the problem you are targeting, keeping it preserves your remaining spins for another decision.

Know where the spins come from

Each new hero starts with three race spins. Codes, events and the shop are additional sources. Claim available reward spins before deciding to purchase more, and keep race spins separate from talent spins: they change different parts of the hero.

The number of starting spins is not a guarantee of reaching a rare race. Tideborn, Nightborne and Seraph each have a listed 0.7% chance, while Human is 37.7%. A low probability remains low even when a recommendation makes the outcome attractive.

Give yourself a stopping point

Set a maximum number of spins you are willing to use, or stop once the passive fits the goal you chose. This is a budget recommendation, not a hidden luck mechanic. Another attempt does not come with a promised better rarity.

Do not abandon an enjoyable class because its race is ordinary. Class actions, equipped gear and timing still determine how the hero plays. Use rerolls to refine that plan, rather than delaying every adventure until you obtain one exact name.
