Pixel Lineage: Talent Rerolls: Sources and Keep Choices
Find talent-spin sources, match a passive to survival or progression, and set a stopping point without chasing guaranteed rarity.
Before rerolling a Pixel Lineage talent, decide whether your hero needs survival, opening Energy, faster growth or better rewards. New heroes have three talent spins, and spending them makes more sense when you can name the benefit your current passive is missing.
This gameplay video shows the interface and turn-based rhythm that the following choices use.
Choose a goal before changing the passive
Survivor is worth considering for a hero learning unfamiliar fights. Arcane Spark suits a Magic plan limited by opening Energy. Quick Study supports leveling and class mastery, while Fortune's Favor serves reward gathering. These goals are different enough that a rarer result can still be a worse fit for the next session.
Your talent is rolled during hero creation. Compare the result's actual effect with the class you want to play before consuming another talent spin. Race spins affect the race; they are not substitutes for talent spins.
| Need | Talent to consider keeping | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Learn a dangerous fight | Survivor | Health bonus plus a qualifying once-per-battle knockout safeguard |
| Open with more spell resources | Arcane Spark | Extra starting Energy and Magic |
| Gain levels and mastery | Quick Study | Both progression bonuses match that session |
| Gather gold and loot | Fortune's Favor | Reward bonuses directly match the objective |
Claim spin sources before buying more
The starting allowance is three talent spins per new hero. Additional spins can come through codes, events and the shop. Use available reward sources before deciding that another paid attempt is necessary, and check the remaining talent-spin count so you know the real size of your budget.
Prodigy's listed chance is 1%. It offers broad bonuses, but no number of attempts in this guide is a guarantee of obtaining it. A working common or uncommon passive lets you continue the game while preserving resources.
Keep the trigger in your decision
Survivor's Endure requires the knockout blow to arrive from above 20% HP and works once per battle. Iron Soul has a chance to reject a harmful status, rather than providing immunity. A recommendation to keep either talent assumes you understand those conditions.
Stop when the result fits your goal, or when you reach the spin budget you set beforehand. That stopping rule is ordinary resource planning. It keeps a useful hero from becoming an endless reroll project and leaves you room to improve equipment, timing and progression alongside the passive.
