Pixel Lineage: How to Unlock an Ultra Class

Last updated 2026-10-09Unofficial player article

Use a matching Ultra Sigil, understand the awakening stat bonus, and distinguish the first Ultra skill from later skills taught by Tomes.

Unlock an Ultra class in Pixel Lineage by using the Ultra Sigil that corresponds to your hero's Super class. Awakening keeps the Super kit, gives the first Ultra skill and the Awakened title, and increases Attack, Magic and maximum HP by 25%.

This Super-class walkthrough explains the preceding branch choice that determines which Ultra Sigil your hero needs.

Confirm the hero and Sigil belong to the same path

Your hero needs its Super branch before the matching Ultra item makes sense. For example, Berserk leads to Bloodreaver, Sentinel to Aegis, and Cleric to Seraph. Read the correspondence rather than assuming any rare Sigil works on any hero.

The branch choice already determines the destination. Awakening is not a class reroll and does not offer an unrestricted menu of Ultra forms. If you want a different family, that is a separate hero-building decision rather than a use for the item in front of you.

Use the matching Sigil for the initial awakening

Sigils and Ultra Tomes are rare world drops. When you have the corresponding Sigil, use it on the Super hero. The result adds an Ultra form while preserving the Super moves you have been using, so you can keep those familiar actions in your combat plan.

Build around the first skill before hunting the rest

Only the first Ultra skill comes from the initial awakening. Later Tomes teach the second and third. Make a plan that works with the skills already learned instead of expecting the last move to solve your next battle immediately.

Ultra attacks never miss, which gives their attacks a distinct advantage over ordinary hit checks. It does not mean the hero becomes invulnerable or can ignore Energy. Your Super moves, equipment and defensive choices remain relevant alongside the new action.

Keep the item goal specific

Check your branch against the Ultra roster before committing an item. Knowing the required match is more useful than chasing every rare item indiscriminately. Save items that do not belong to your current path rather than treating rarity alone as proof that they are the next upgrade for this hero.
